IT&E STREAMS ‘LIVE’ INTERNET COVERAGE
OF LIBERATION DAY PARADE

IT&E provided live online coverage of the Annual Liberation Day Parade. On July 21, 2002, Internet enthusiasts visited www.ite.net and viewed the broadcast of the parade online. The island’s public broadcasting station, KGTF, provided the televised feed.

For several years now, IT&E has sponsored the online webcast to give Guamanians all over the world the opportunity to participate in the yearly event, even though they are thousands of miles away from home.

“ Liberation Day is a special holiday in the lives of every Guamanian, no matter where they might be,” said IT&E General Manager Joseph J. Perez, “We’re proud to provide live coverage on the Internet for everyone to enjoy.”
