IT&E TO
STREAM 'LIVE' INTERNET COVERAGE
OF THE LIBERATION DAY
PARADE
Once again, IT&E will provide live, online
coverage of Guam's annual Liberation Day Parade. On July
21, 2001, Internet
enthusiasts can visit www.ite.net/liberation to view the
parade online.
The island's public broadcasting station,
KGTF, will provide
the televised feed.For several years now, IT&E has sponsored
the online webcast in order to give Guamanians all over the
world the opportunity to participated in the yearly event,
even though they are thousands of miles away from home.

It's one of our most popular webcasts," said IT&E
Vice President and General Manager Joseph J. Perez. "The
amount of hits that we get online is unbelievable. So we
know it is important to make it available again," he
said.
Local residents can inform their off-island
relatives to visit the IT&E site from 10:00am-4:00pm on Saturday,
July 21, 2001 (Guam time). In order to view the online webcast, "Real
Player" software is required. This software can be downloaded
online. A link will be provided on the IT&E Liberation
Day website.
