IT&E ANNOUNCES GUAM'S FIRST AND ONLY NATIONWIDE
DIGITAL PCS ROAMING SERVICE

In an historic first for Guam, IT&E announces the island’s first and only Digital PCS Nationwide Roaming Service. IT&E Wireless Digital PCS customers can now be reached, while traveling in the U.S. mainland and Hawaii just by dialing their 7-digit PCS phone number.

IT&E Wireless Digital PCS customers can now take their IT&E Digital PCS phones to the U.S. mainland and Hawaii to make and receive calls from virtually any domestic location, and they can receive calls from almost anywhere in the world. Tests are already in progress for calls to international locations while roaming. This service will be available very shortly.

Borlas. “We’ve ensured that our customers can use their IT&E Wireless Digital PCS phones to stay connected virtually anywhere in the mainland and Hawaii. Likewise, CDMA digital PCS subscribers from the U.S. mainland can travel to Guam and keep in touch while using their PCS phones through IT&E’s all digital network. IT&E is proud to be a pioneer in this field and to make it all possible.”

A major partner in IT&E’s roaming network is Sprint PCS, which operates the largest all-digital, all-PCS nationwide wireless network in the United States. Sprint PCS has a licensed PCS coverage of nearly 270 million people nationwide. Sprint PCS and several other domestic wireless PCS partners ensure a solid calling coverage for IT&E’s PCS subscribers who use their IT&E Digital PCS phones in the U.S. mainland.

IT&E’s nationwide roaming service is available to all IT&E Wireless Digital PCS customers. Before they travel, customers should call 456-ROAM to verify if their Digital PCS phone is programmed for roaming capability.
